Thanks. What I was trying to do, as much as anything, was to demystify the whole blue smoke thing.

Electrics can be very daunting and it all looks like some sort of black magic, but if it is approached slowly and methodically, it's really quite simple (as you know).

Usually it's simply Battery to Ground. ........lm
