Rob, there have been a couple of threads on the rectifier issue, but no stickys.
Here's one:

The Radio Shack rectifier was still available at stores last time I checked

Fiberglass sleeving for points wires
I went overkill and bought the same physical size but 600V 40A bridge rectifier from an electronics supply house. Same one that I put in my S90. I doubt if I'll need a heat sink, but will probably machine one just to take up the space so I can use the original mounting point. If I'm going to make a spacer, it might as well be a head sink to boot. That rectifier did cost $14 versus $4 at Radio Shack. But I'd rather have the heavier capacity component and not have to worry about it.
I'll make a sticky with the text of the mod and attach the same diagram as here.
Did anyone notice that I put up a sticky with a CL77 wiring diagram? I modified a CB diagram to match what I found on my '67 CL77. Not looking for a pat on the back, just wanted folks to know it was there. Nobody commented so I assumed it went unnoticed.
regards,
Rob

Thanks, I needed that.
Another forum I'm on actually shows how many have read a given thread. I wonder if they could add that feature here.
I was very surprised that there appears to be no CL77 wiring diagram available. I find it hard to believe that one never existed. I wonder if it was in a common book that had wiring diagrams for a range of models. Sorta like the common service manual.

Rob

Tom,
That's great. I searched all over this site and the best response I found for those looking for a CL77 wiring diagram was to use the CB77 diagram.
CL77 manual?? I thought there was only a CL72 Manual. At least that's all I've been able to find. Is that a honda manual you have or an aftermarket manual?
Thanks,
Rob
