I'm having trouble get my brake light to work.
If work the switch manually the brake light works, but when I push on the brake pedal I get no movement of the wire that activates the switch. Everything is connected but no movement.
Anyone have any tips?

I've tried that. I'm getting no movement of the actuator that pulls the wire of the switch down.

So it works OK when you pull on the switch plunger itself, yes? Does the plunger move smoothly without any grittiness or clicking? If so then that rules out electrical faults and it looks like it could be a simple mechanical problem with the lever & fulcrum system.
