rubber insulating cover on ignition coil lead

Post by skeptic » Fri Apr 29, 2011 6:10 pm

Can anyone recommend a substitute/replacement source for the little rubber insulating cover on ignition coil lead? Mine are cracked and coming apart. I do not mean the spark plug cap.

I'm going to assume you're talking about a Dream. If so, then it seems you cannot buy the rubber cap but must order the entire lead. If so, here is the part number: 32402 259 000 and here is a source; http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/part ... ber_16330/ Good luck. Jeff H.

if its a 90 degree boot like a cb77 has. try the local lawnmower repair shop. or auto parts house for something that will work.

Thanks all. Its for CL72. They are just for 4 crummy little rubber caps on + and - terminals, I've seen them avail for $4 plus shipping but that's a lot for the little buggers. I'll look for lawnmower shop & NAPA

Nick at Ohio Cycle has them. Cheap after-market dealies, but they fit nicely.
