Hi, Looking for a starter for a 66 scrambler.Tag says: CA 08 R or B no. 3FO 198 12V .Prefer nos or name and number of someone who is reputable to rebuild the one I have.Thanks

Sorry, thats just what I was told.Its probably a DREAM engine.Anyway, now its shoehorned into a Mustang Stallion frame.

Seeing as the mustang has downtubes its very possible that a starter won't fit. The starter is also chain drive so you will need a few parts besides just the starter if it were to fit.

The frame was altered back in the 60's and the engine has a starter already.It fires up right away with the kick starter but spoiled on that electric starter!
