WANTED - CB77 any year in MN

I am looking to pick up a CB77 any year. No title necessary. I am looking for a project bike to work on and any condition is acceptable. I can pay cash and pick up anywhere in Minnesota or neighboring states if not too far. Also if anyone knows of another resource to try and get a hold of a bike that would be much appreciated. Thanks all...this forum is invaluable!

Hi,

There is a CB77 on Craigslist Minneapolis this morning for $2000. If you look back through the adds there are a couple of other CB77 projects on Craigslist Minneapolis. I spoke with this guy and he wanted a lot of money, but that was a few months ago and he may be more reasonable now.

Also, I have a CL77 motor, which I believe is the same except for the oil filler pipe. I am not sure of the condition, but I will be reasonable on price. Please let me know if you are interested.

Thanks for the heads up. I spoke with him as well but he is firm on that price which I think is a little high for the bike but I will keep looking. I am trying to find a close to complete bike and go from there but thanks for the info. on the engine as well. I want to find resources outside of craigslist and online list sites that may be a good place to start looking. Thanks again.

Be sure to join the MN chapter of the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club. We meet at Diamonds coffee shop on Central Avenue in N.E. Mpls. at 7 pm. on the second Monday of every month and we have a big show coming up at the State Fairgrounds on June 16th.

Thanks for the invite...I actually only live a few block from Diamonds and I have been there many a time! I will be there for April's meet up and I look forward to meeting some folks. Hope to see you there.

My dad has a 1965 Honda CB77. we are still trying to figure out how much to ask for it. I know he has owned it since 1975 because that was the last time it was registered. I had it running in 1995. It doesn't have a seat, but all the other parts are there. Will try to post pictures later this week.
