Hi G-man, (and anyone else with a thought),

Still trying to solve the mystery of my tailight. Been looking at a lot of photos of other fender/tailights. One thing I noticed is that it's mounted higher up on the fender then later ones. Is it possible the fender was pushed in and that's why the bracket is at a strange angle?? It did have an indent where it was mounted, but it looked pre-formed to me.

Thanks,
jmn

There shouldn't be a dent in the fender.
