I'm assuming a CB77? I went to my local bearing supply house, and ordered two 1/4 rod ends, also known as heim joints. Next get 1/4 - 20 threaded rod, and cut to desired length. I purchased some stainless tubing at the local hobby shop to cover the threaded rod. bolt the rod ends to the shifter, and to the shift arm. You can cut rod to go to middle, or far rear position. Total cot under ten bucks.
