Would anyone be interested in trading the original petcock assembly (needs rebuild) for a petcock adapter type?
I will be using one of the below, vs the old original style. Just thought I would see the interest. Thanks

petcock
Bought one of those on ebay for my Dream. They bolt to the tank and work well but there are plumbing problems. The hoses have to be put in akward positions and look strange on the bike. I took mine off sold it and went with original. Just my opinion.

I've rebuilt a few of the originals. It's not hard. Try to get the real cork disk for the center and make sure you get a good seal up top. Also, don't get discouraged and it seeps ad drips a little. The cork needs to swell up and it will seal. The last one I did had a couple of days of being damp just below the switch hole, but dried out just fine. Paul
