66' CL77 Rear Hub

Post by moondoggers » Sun Mar 01, 2015 3:19 pm

Looking for a rear hub in good condition, mine is worn to where it's only using about 50% of the brake shoe.
Also looking for 2 bushing for the shock absorber mount on the swing-arm on the same bike.

I have a good condition 36-spoke big-brake hub......no serious scratches..........no sprocket or brake-plate.......$45 shipped from Wisconsin to Arizona.

However, 50% shoe contact is not all that bad...........and will likely improve with some linkage adjustment.........unless the drum is actually worn that badly. I have been known to sand a few thou from the central sections of new pads for improved end-to-end surface contact.

I have used shock-mount bushes for the swingarm...........new would be better.

Thanks for the offer and the tip on how to treat new shoes and adjustments. I will work with what I have
Any idea where I would find new brake shoes and bushings and race for the shock mount?

Note the measurements in mm and inches..............ACE hardware had some a few years ago. I have a few new units for my projects sourced at a swap meets. I am not sure but they look like the same units installed in many other models. Your local HONDA dealer may be the best source.
