Hey guys!
Made a discovery recently that one of my cylinder sleeves has a fracture at the base of the sleeve that extends past the head. Anybody have an extra sleeve lying around? See them on Honda Restoration but trying to avoid spending $100 if possible due to things that have come up recently. Thanks in advance!

Not sure what sleeve you need..........cylinder sleeves do not extend into the head. The bottom of each sleeve extends into the top crankcase. The top of each sleeve is even with the top of the cylinder (block) and is pressed against the head-gasket.
An NOS sleeve will be in stock bore. A used sleeve may suit your needs............but only if we know what your bore is. You will likely need to hone the bore and I would suggest new rings.
I have several motors apart but would have to check each unit to avoid pitted units and find a cylinder to fit your bore.

R what size motor? cracked sleeve? I would take a long hard look at the clydr casting as well. the sleeves are generally pretty durable, and of course you will change both if need be. Tim's kit starts to look pretty reasonable at that point.
Good luck

Look for a decent, used cylinder. You can either swap out the sleeves or use the barrel as-is.
Sleeves do come up but you'll probably get a barrel for the same money.
