I just wanted to share that I found a company in PA, USA that manufactures a M3 x 0.6 pitch machine screw at a cost of $4.00 for a qty of 10.
The only difference is the length of 12mm, is a socket head cap screw and is black alloy material.
I bought a pack and they work perfectly.
