1957 Benly JC ProgressVery cool bike. I'd love to see some higher resolution photos. A far as the fuel lines, there's plenty of braided cable sleeves that achieve the proper look of the braided steel hoses over the rubber hose. Here is just one example.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/1962_cb77_restore/ benlyI sold a Dream petcock a while back that had a banjo fitting on the inlet. same as the one shown here a few weeks ago under the listing "you don't want to miss this". This petcock was a later Honda replacement.
Perhaps that fitting is still available, possibly from Ohio Cycle? 66 Dream

So, I'm still plugging away on the final details, runs good. I did have a serious oil leak, which I thought was a bad seal, but after pulling things apart discovered I had put to much oil in it and it was pumping out of the vent. The hole is hidden above the sprocket. I guess they thought if you had a little blow by you'd oil the chain! Still need to get my petcock working properly and these braided fuel lines! Also discovered that the chainguard plug is CA77 and was able to get it right away on ebay!
Paul, I've got a Honda Benly JC original owner's handbook listed on ebay (although it is correct for a 1956 JC56). If interested, just search Benly JC on ebay and I'm sure it will pop up.
I've had a JC57 a couple years ago, but sold it to fund the restoration of my 64 Honda S600 sports car, would certainly like to get another one. Have you considered wether you're going to sell that parts bike or not? If you need help locating parts, I've got a friend in Japan who can get parts from Yahoo Japan (sometimes some Benly JC parts come up for sale on there). Jason.
