Some slightly better pics. Seems there will be a bit of work ahead of me. Being a complete novice, I'm probably too green to realise my limits and move on, instead, plough ahead and hope the glass is half full.

Scott

Still a great looking project. Just do plenty of research and don't rush. I think the great thing about these projects is the therapy you get along the way. Treat each 'problem' separately and it will all come together.

Interesting plate fixed to the frame. 20/40 multigrade oil? That will kick off some discussions here, I'm sure.... :-) Is the dealer still in business?

Mystery bike - Royal Enfield Flying Flea?

On my way to Oz this week but nowhere near Melbourne.

Well done G-man, nailed it first go. 47ish Royal Enfield Flying Flea. This one I uncovered while painting a house. I picked up another while living in Scotland around 2000-1 and brought it back. Still in a million bits.
As for the Dream, well there isn't much choice but for a total rebuild. Everything needs doing. May as well do it right. Enjoy Australia. Spring now leading into Summer.
