My CB77

Post by Jim G » Sat Nov 17, 2012 10:04 pm

This is a photo of the CB77. I aquired this for $200 while shopping for parts for my CA77 which still also have. When I first bought it I got it running but then stored if or 10 years while my kids were little. A few years ago I was thinking about selling my bikes but my wife convinced me to keep them and fix them up. (yes you heard that right)

So here they are. This summer I had a guy pull out in front of me and I dumped the bike and slide 30 feet. Drum brakes actuated by cables, thin tires on a heavy little bike don't offer the stopping power that new bikes have. Even so, I'm alive to ride for another day!

So the bike has some history with me now. Since then I used the insurance money to fix it back up. As you'll see is coming along pretty nice.

It's a beauty, Jim. Both of them are, in fact.
Glad you made it through that spill and will be beautifying Ohio by keeping that bike on the road!
