Running, running, running!

Post by hondadreamca77 » Tue Dec 04, 2012 11:29 pm

Had to repost final pics of bike project here. This bike runs very well despite an oil leak I am going to fix immediately. The engine fired up on third kick and very shortly was tuned up and running...no smoke, hesitation, etc. It was a stuck engine 31 years and I put in new points and set gaps, valves, on bench. Biggest nightmare I had in final phase was original petcock leaking despite new kit. Am going to replace with new petcock eventually Lots of small things to do yet but the basic project is complete. Chrome shot so painted mufflers and rims. Will eventually replace with NOS Honda rims when I get some more bucks.

It's a DREAM to drive.....nice little Honda.

Steve
