Sandblasted and painted yesterday. Will be back together tonite, but awaiting some parts to finish. Tank, fenders, and side covers will retain the patina (rusty look) until I decide on a paint system, and need a front 6 hole bracket and fender too....

Bike runs perfectly. No oil spewing from breather! It sounds very healthy, and I rode it 3 times letting it cool down each time.
Thanks Loud Mouse for the help and parts and to all the others who helped.
Pics coming but I had to clean up my shop and take inventory what I still need!

I notice that there is some pitting on the tail light mount. I have successfully used body filler as a repair for this sort of thing. No one will ever know.

Yes. It is a quick job this year. Going to ride it as is and maybe next winter do it up. A bit of icing would clean it up I'm sure!!
