This is a restored cb72 1963 (restored by Ronnie Much Scotland)engine number 313901 frame number 313925. would like to know if there is anthing wrong for the year on the bike i know the hubs and brkes are ok. Also i am restoring a 1962 bike if any one has good photos of both side of a 1962 cb72 could they please post them. It has an engine with out the primarey chian tensinor engine number 21610 frame 21216
also have engines 211255 and 210610. Regards Peter

Whew! Mighty nice 72 there! Sure don't see many of those. While I had a 66' CB72 (back in 68"), I sure couldn't critique whether there were any "wrong year" parts there. Have to leave that to the "experts". Is it just me, or doesn't that kick starter kinda stick out somewhat?

Right side looks pretty good. If it were a U.S. bike I might question: Lack of Honda logo on back of seat; Spark plug wires not routed properly through hangers mounted on outboard carb studs; Use of late model "universal" replacement mirrors. Not familiar with the possible differences on the UK version. Cheers, Chase

Photo seems to have gone. But thanks for the replys and pm,s might have The hangers on another bike and ive just got the right seat cover with honda across the back. Any one know where to buy a seat trim.The kick start was left out as i just got the bike going for the frist time since i got it low battery. All the best PT
