I've been reading a little (too much maybe)about motorcycle restoration and something has come to my attention; Supposing (just supposing in an alternate reality ) I wanted to bring my motorcycle up to Concourse standards. With the variance in my frame number v.s. my engine number would that stop such a project from being feasible or is the gap acceptable? Anybody have any knowlege of this? Jeff H.

personally i wouldnt worry about it. as long as it is as close to period correct parts that are on the bike is what matters. its knowing that you took the time to restore the bike back to the way it came off the showroom floor.
