Hi group...new cl 77.
Just brought this home this last weekend out of a friends barn...been setting since 1980.

This is a test photo to see if my brain is working and did it right.
I'm not seeing a frame number where I think to look.

The frame number is stamped on the left side of the head tube.

I see a lot of 250 parts there. .................lm

Loud Mouse how do you spot those 250 parts from a photo. Might be a dumb question but I've never seen any model of 72 in person.

Front Hub, Front Mount of Rear Brake Cable, Left Side Exhaust Pipe, Both Fenders are Aluminum, Rear Axle, Swing Ardm Bolt.
Carbs appear to be 26mm and Top Triple Clamp looks to be 305. ????????????
Frame number could be CL72-4XXXXX or CL72-11XXXXX. ......????????????????? .......................lm

You gentlemen are why I came to the forum.
I've lurked in the back ground for quite some time and read threw more threads than I can remember ,
just signed up a short time ago.
I value all you talents...
Here are a couple more pics....I'll try to get out tonight after work and get a frame and engine number.
I'm starting to get worried...although this was a present and no cash out of pocket.
