Mostly Lurker, CB77 Rebuild

Post by Githianki » Wed May 18, 2016 8:42 pm

Hello all. Long time semi lurker, I had started a 65 Dream a few years back and had to scrap the project. Fast forward to now and I have a 65 Superhawk that I got a few years back and am just not getting around to tearing it down and doing. This is a project for my father and I as we never did finish the CA77. Plan on doing as much of it as possible ourselves, including the body work and paint. We're pretty mechanically inclined and had made progress with the dream before it went.

Frame# CB77-1000488

Here it is the day we started.

It's all disassembled now.

First order of business is going to be rebuilding the front forks. When I sit on the bike they go down to the stops.

Sounds like you have a plan for a great project with your dad. Keep us posted with photos and progress reports. Good luck!
