Well, I purchased this bike two years ago, took it all apart about a year ago now, and finally I am getting a good start on the restoration part of it. Over the two years I have bought parts I needed--front rim, front fender and stay, swapped a chain guard, bought all the rubber parts, etc. Anyway, early next week all of the black is going to go to the Powdercoater.
I have one question though for everyone---I have done a black one and see a lot of them, have seen red ones before but how often has anyone seen a blue framed one? I was thinking of maybe going blue. Any opinions?

There is no actual data for how many of what color were issued.
I've had one blue and seen others.
I like to look.
If ya want the correct color ask for "FFA" Blue. ........lm

I know it is a preference thing for most people. Or is it better to leave it as it originally came??

Ok, all of the black parts are powdercoated black--decided to stay with a dark color and they look really good---nice glossy finish. I will past a pic later.
Now, another question---how much does it take away from resale, originality, etc if a person goes with a color other than gray on the painted parts? One person I know said "do it how YOU want it". Oh, and the guy who did the powdercoating said he would have NO problem doing powder on the tank, etc and I know some have said, "dont' powder the tank".
Suggestions or thoughts on powder and a different color since there are a lot of great opinions on here?
Thanks,
Jeff
