Road ready almost complete CL77

Post by Ford Guy » Sat Aug 11, 2012 12:09 pm

Well Folks here it is. I am waiting for a new throttle and speedo cable. This winter I will redo the seat and paint the chainguard the correct color. Its been 5 years in the making and more fun than I ever thought possible. I owe a big thanks to many of you on this forum and to the forum in general.

Side note# This bike has been in my family since 1968. I am the fourth owner. I had a 1967 CL which I bought brand new while I was in high school but sold it. I did this one up in red frame because that is the color mine was. It originally was black.

Yeah I agree I am looking for one in a little better shape that one has been welded up a few times and not a nice job of it.
