The two types are on my 67 CB77. It probably wasn't assembled that way at the factory. Which is correct?
Thank You
Steve

The one on the left is what is on my unmolested 67 CL77. I would think a 67 CB77 would be the same. The one on the right was used on my late 63 CA78. They were changed then, or earlier, from a third style.

The one on the left appeared on the latest engines. I have owned four of the late 1967 candy CL77s and they all had the tappet cover on the left.

well; I have learned something. I have about 30 250/305 engines sitting around and 6 running bikes. I have not seen that cover on the left. I have plenty of the early domed and the later flat ones.

Steve,
I have some decent extras if you need to make up a matched set.

I'll get in on this one.
If you have a true 1967 the one on the left is the style HONDA issued on the engine. ...........lm
