				Many use the NGK D8HA.  Do you have the handbook?

				Handbook says C or D7HW but back then the wide heat range plugs weren't around.
AS previous answer, either a D8HA or D8HS should be fine, certainly good enough to get you up and running and not likely to overheat through being too 'soft' and shouldn't foul if motor is in sound condition and the mixture / timing are both OK.

				The early parts list book I have shows D-8H and I know for sure that there are other HONDA  manuals which show D-7X.

				I'd never considered that the owner's manuals might have changed over the years.  I have no idea when mine was printed, but it recommends D6HW plugs for normal use and D8H for heavily stressed use.

				Look at the lower part of the rear page and you may find the year.
Could be I have my number off by one!*^*% ....................lm
