I have a reasonable inventory of Snap-On hand tools, that I started amassing in 1982; but having and "keeping for best" -- read "bike work" -- a set of JIS drivers is a great shout!
Aside from Phillips and JIS, there's also Reede & Prince crosshead drive types, along with our European 'Pozidriv' and GKN 'Supadrive', both of which look similar but have differing depths and, as a result, won't successfully cross-breed! Oh, and they're both shite when compared to Phillips, slipping out and chewing up so damned easily (especially stainless fixings) unless the driver tip is brand new...
