Lucas oil fuel treatment

Post by mike69 » Mon Sep 08, 2008 9:53 pm

My 78 Goldwing was gas fouling the no.3 spark plug first at a 1,000 mi. then 500, it was down to about every 50 mi. I figured i'd have to rebuild the carb. Thought i'd try some Lucas oil fuel treatment, the stuff in the tall thin 6oz. bottle. It worked great in my truck so I tried some in the bike. Within 50 mi. the bike started running really great and hasn't fouled a plug in over 800 mi. Amazing stuff!

How much would you add to your oil?
