...or is this possibly Jim from 'taxi'?!

Too much BiN; not enough auctioning nowadays!

Steve....you obviously do not appreciate the historical significance of the original, hand written stock#, or partial vin#, which is still intact on the upper right hand portion of the manual, which was placed there by the original selling dealer!

It could be worth a fortune if properly matched to the exact bike it came with, and give new meaning to the term "matching numbers".

Brew, IM(H))O it's a pi55-take! It's on eBay, not bloody Sotheby's..... Perhaps it has solid gold staples and was signed by Soichiro himself, in which case I'd concede.

Greeeeeeeeeeed!

Must be related to the guy with the $400.00/ea. whitewalls.......bad part about it was his feedback indicated he actually sold a set at that price, and the buyer was complaining about the high shipping!

As PT Barnum (or whoever) said...."there's a fool born every minute!"

I always thought about making a "ridiculous ebay ad of the day" thread. Some of this stuff is just too crazy not to have someone share in your dumbfoundedness.

As I've written here (and on HondaTwins.net) before: it's up to the buyer to pay the money and take the choice. But it's fast becoming less of an auction site and more of a greed-driven market place.

An item is worth what a buyer is prepared to pay for it; but the true value is what that item makes at auction!

That's my theory exactly. That's why all my stuff is listed starting at $0.99 with no reserve. Whatever it ends on, that's how much it's worth.

Some of these guys that are selling their CB77's on ebay are getting more than fair market value and still not reaching reserve.
