Post by Steverino » Sat May 23, 2015 10:25 pm

Has anyone seen these mufflers? Are they good copies of OEM? Thanks, Steve

Looks to me like the CMSNL mufflers are the Overlander type by looking at the outlet end. Non removable baffle?

I don't know who manufacturers DSS mufflers but the set I bought elsewhere appear to be from the same manufacturing run. Phil provided detailed pictures of the set he just bought from DDS and they appear identical to mine. They are High Quality and, other than the mounting brackets, accurate to oem. The baffles are removal-able. Here is one of my originals (above) and the repro.

Same mounting brackets as the old DSS run and what appears to me to be nice tig welds. If they aren't tig I am really impressed!

From my kind of obsessive staring at the old verses new pics I see only one difference and that is the lack of a weep hole.
Barry told me yesterday my Overlanders are just about ready to ship so I will take some side by side pictures as soon as they arrive.
