Header pipe is OEM rechromed at Prestige in Mexborough, lovely result, their work is first class.

Coincidence or what, I've just this morning took all my stuff to be chromed with Brian at Prestige, been using him for over 25 years & he's only 15min from me!

He's a 'customer' of mine as well!

Thank You Phil for the info. It am wondering why it seems there are more quality platers in the UK than the US. At least here in the Pacific NorthWest.

Having had my CB77 from new, and had the mufflers off and on a few times!the origional stainless ones (round hole) the hole very rarely lined up. I found there was enough slack in the engine mounting bolts to move the motor around until the hole lined up. It was far easier to leave the bolt out, never seemed to make much difference. Still, using one origional muffler after 50 years and 140,000 miles.
Leon.
