Well Fred first of all let me say welcome aboard. I also have to say I really enjoyed reading your post and especially seeing your video. With a nice sounding engine like that who would want or need a stereo in the car. The pictures were equally interesting to look at.

You've got some really nice vehicles there so keep posting the pictures. I for one really enjoyed seeing them. Paul

Yeah, I know this thread was last active 5 months ago, but hey, I get to share my other interests.

Hobbie project #1:

It's a 1968 Mustang notchback I'm slowly restomodding into a visual replica of a Jerry Titus Trans-Am racer. The engine is a non-vintage roller cam 302 with forged pistons, Weiand X-Celerator single plane, Holley 650DP, Crane cam, roler rockers, Edelbrock heads, and Hooker headers. Power goes to a Toploader 4-speed and out through a 3.50 Traction-Lok 9" Ford rear. Not shown in the picture is Mopar 15x7 steel wheels.

Project #2:

This is a 1984 Mustang SVO, one of about 9800 SVOs made between 1984 and 1986. It came with a 2.3 SOHC turbocharged engine rated at 175hp and 215lb-ft, factory Koni suspension, and kicked tail on the '84 5.0L GT. This is my restoration car.

Free time "waste of money" project #4:

It's a 10hp Briggs & Stratton flathead with porting and valvework....and a turbocharger with electronic fuel injection(!)

My 70 Challenger
I know it's a bad picture, but we didn't have digital cameras, computers or scanners back then, at least not normal folks, but it's all I have left, except of course for the fond memories. But alas, I had to be rid of that hole in the driveway that I shoveled money into.
Now I have 9 smaller holes to shove money into!

Some really nice stuff shown here but, I'm more into 305's old Fords, even though I'm a Mopar sort of guy. Nothing now but in the past is a different story. Sorry don't have pictures of most and what I do have pictures of, the pictures aren't handy right now.

56' Plymouth/277 V8, 58' Chevy Impala 2dr hdtp/348 V8, 66' Charger/383/4sp/posi, 69' road runner/383/ auto, (2nd) 69' road runner (I married the owner 36 yrs ago), (2nd) 66' Charger/383/auto,
73' VW "The Thing", 76' Volare road runner/318/auto & 74' Dodge Royal Monaco (ex State Police Car)440 interceptor V8/auto. Closest thing to a classic now is an 80' Honda accord 4dr!

Gotta lot of "Vintage Project Bikes" (means that they are in pretty fair to pretty deplorable shape)

Later on, Bill
