Honda offered the CA160 from 1966-1969. They did not keep records of the VIN runs vs year produced. Pull your tank and check the date on the white tag on your wiring harness. If it is the original harness that will help you date it. It is not 100% that is your year, as 1966 tagged harness could have been used into 1967 and so on. Also, bikes were titled in the year they were sold back in that time period. If I bike sat around for a year or two, the title would reflect that year sold, not produced. That's easiest reflected in bikes produced before 1965 as each year had a recognizable frame number that reflected the year. Since you have not provided your location on your profile, I do not know what country you are in. This info is for bikes built for the US market. I cannot comment on other markets.

Thanks. I'll look at the harness. Yes I'm USA so can I just declare a year and get a title?

Each state is different on getting a title with a bill of sale. Some are easy and some are a no go. You'll have to check with your state BMV DMV.
