Engine bolts
I started tearing my engine apart to rebuild it but I can't the screws out of the part behind the points tried everything I can think of but they wont budge at all can anyone tell me how in the world to get them out it doesn't matter if I can't put them back plan on getting aengine bolt set for it I have recieved my engine rebuild gasket kit and ready to rebuild my 305 but I am far from getting this running so all the help would be great thanks

Tom, Have you tried an impact screwdriver? That usually works. Steve

no havent ried a impact screwdriver some are striped an rusted

I had same problem. Use impact wrench if that does not work file notch in screw and use chisel or punch.

Years ago I bought a used Black & Decker Electric impact wrench. I bought it because I hated using a 6ft cheater to change tires at home. I couldn’t work on my bikes without it.’<br /><br />I first tried a hammer impact but kept breaking bits even the good Bosh ones. <br />Rob<br />
