Re: oil filter
Hi,

My old 65 cb77 used a centrifugal oil filter, chain driven. I would simply take it apart (metal ring holds the cover plate) and clean the inside wall. Hope this helps.

Re: oil filter
What is the thickness of the thrust washer that goes between the filter and the case?
I will need to manufacture my own.

Re: oil filter
It is stainless and about .002. Be sure you put it on the shaft before the filter. ...........LM

DJBarcy:
Just curious how you are planning to make that. .002 (inch I assume) is about as thick as foil. Punch out the hole and tin snips for the outside diameter?

Tom
