Thanks, 48 - I did replace that sealing washer as the old one was torqued down and mashed. The Hondabond I was a bit more conservative with. I remembered reading a thread some time ago where someone used their hbond way too liberally and it caused all manner of havoc. I got a thin bead of squeeze out all along the outer edge and felt satisfied that that was sufficient. I do hope I used enough.
I really shouldn't be doing this without my Silver guides, but I'm eager to gt on the road before it gets too cold. I bought the bike close to two years ago!

Stan- thanks for the reply.I used Hondabond 4 too. The 'blue' I was referring to was the tube color. I had a tube of red but was later informed that blue was the proper sealer.
