stuck motor parts needed Will a Dream crankshaft interchange

I’ve been trying to unstick a frozen motor on my 63 305 Honda Super hawk, at this point I’ve got the case split( had to cut connecting rod) trying to locate parts, I feel I’ve got the transmission parts, I need a crankshaft and pistons still my jug has a piston still stuck in it . so here is what I’m asking I got a used jug from a 305 dream. To me it looks like it will fit, I got a used crankshaft from ebay and thought I was good to go there, after matching them up they’re not the same , the manual does say there are two different crankshaft assemblies , after looking on line at ebay it seems all the ones offered are the same as I got but not what I need , once again when I look at the 305 dream it looks the same. Mine has both piston going up at the same time and only( one set of points) it also has both of the flat spots on the crank on the same side that is what I’ve found to be the same so long story short version will the Dream crankshaft work as well as the jug ?

Jug will work, crank will not unless you change the points cam, cam orientation and use single points. CB77 takes a 180 crank where the Dream is a 360 crank.

my motor is already only using a single set of pionts and one coil that I guess fires both sides when needed, so do u think the crankshaft might work now my bike was sold in japan to a servicemember he brought it to the states

Well now, I didn't realize you had a domestic Type 2 engine that uses a 360 degree crank. I have never had a Japan domestic type 2 engine in my hands but I would guess that a CA77 crank would work but the experts on this site should be able to give you a definitive answer.

ok great I will wait for other to let me know what they think as well at times I was getting bummed out this motor didnt want to come apart fought me all the way and then the crankshaft was looking so much differant then the other ones but spot on to the dream crankshaft ,now i just have to try and round up all the parts

i just hope that the other parts are pretty much the same Ive already ordered the shift drum and forks it was all rusted this bike only has about 22k kilometers even the speed is in kilometers not MPH being it came from japan not a export model
