connecting rod sleeves?

The specs in my clymer read as such,

New pin 15.mm

Rod end 15.016 - 15.043

If greater than 15.1 replace

Fs

that would be close to .04 thousand if my math is close .or almost what the valve lash is supposed to be ..there is no way that I have half that much ..i think i'm ok ..again thank you

Glad i can be of assistance. .1mm is actually only about .004 inches.

If you have a good caliper measure the rod ends with that and that will give you a pretty good idea.

The crank in mine measured 15.06 on one side which is in spec but on the sloppy side but the other side measured almost 15.16

yes i left off a 0 ..the top of my con rods had seen a bit of heat ,not to the point of bluing but baked on blackened oil ..is this normal ?
