Air Vents plugged

Post by mikewilson30 » Wed Jan 26, 2005 8:30 pm

The air vents on the rear of the head on my CL 72 are plugged up. Any advice on how to open these up. Where do they
end up? Crank case or intake ports?
Might this be a clue to why it backfires when decellerating?

The plastic tubes went to the air cleaners but the new ones air cleaners I bought don't have a connecting nipple. Did Honda make changes in where this tube is supposed to go if it does not go the air cleaner?

Mike
