I learned something today.....
I went out this morning in search of the 16mm 1.5 Pitch bolt to remove the Rotor from my CA77 motor that I'm refreshing. I stopped at a number of places that sell bolts and none of the had any 16mm's that were not 2.0 pitch. On the way home I stopped at a local hardware store (a well stocked on I might add) for a long shot look-see. Same result... 2.0 pitch. Then I happened to see a bunch of bins marked "Metric SAE". There were 16mm in all sort of lengths and the pitch looked like a fine pitch so I grabbed a 16mm 1.5 nut and it fit. SAE was 1.5.... who would have thought ??
I bought a 16x60 SAE bolt for $4.45, brought it home, and popped off the rotor slick as snot.
Anyhow, just thought I'd pass this along in case I wasn't the only dummy left out here. :-)

No need for that. Just put the bolt in and hit with an air impact or put a wrench on it and hit it with a hammer.big-b wrote:Did you drill and tap a hole in the bolt and then thread another bolt through it to pop the rotor off?

The rear axle also works, its the correct size and pitch to fit the rotor and can be used as a puller.
