my left side engine cover was installed with some honda bond

i am having difficulty separating the left side case (where cluitch is) since it was installed wih some honda bond. i am afraid to hit itbecause of the guides for the oil may damage. any ideas on how to remove this?

Most of the time the sealer used will not keep a case from separating.
There are dowels for alignment and they often are "sticky".
Get a dead blow hammer and ease around the perimeter of your case.
Patience and practice probably helps too!
