Oil Filter Cap Clip CA77

Hey Guys and Gals,

Just serviced the CA77 oil filter and clutch. Not feeling too good about the retainer clip for the oil filter cap....seems to have lost some spring tension over the years....for now I have stretched it out carefully and re seated in the groove. I tried but cannot get a replacement through my local Honda dealer.

Anyone have experience with one of these letting go in use? I don't think it would be for a great day with that spring clip flying around in the side case. More over does anyone know where I can get a NOS replacement?
