Starter Sprocket

I popped off my rotor today and took a look at the large starter sprocket behind it. I was surprised that it just slipped straight off the shaft with an oil seal. Can someone tell me how it's gripped when the starter starter turns it? It doesn't seem to engage with or grip anything inside the rotor.

The parts sheet will show an assembly with springs and rollers on the engine side of the rotor. ........lm

Thanks, LM. I have checked the parts diagram and see that there are 3 parts - spring, spring cap and roller that must do the job. I have closely examined the rotor and see 3 recesses at the engine side of the rotor where they must fit. Inside one recess, found 1 spring cap and spring stuck to the back wall; there are no rollers. They did not drop out when I removed the rotor, they're just missing. That's typical; the last 3 POs did a number on this engine.

Knowing what I need is good, but I do not know how they are assembled into the rotor. The parts diagram does not illustrate that.

CMS has the parts. Does anyone know of a more local source?
Update: It seems that the parts are still available from Honda; Partzilla.com has them.

Just looking at the pics of the starter clutch. Shouldn't the 3 screws be staked to the cover? It looks like the clutch cover is loose. Could someone else please chime in on this? Doesn't look right to me.

Thanks Mike, G-Man and LM. The thin cover over the clutch cover is askew and cannot be budged, although the screws turn and I've removed the whole clutch cover.
