Hi,
Because my original sprocket was broken I bought a new one. Luckely it was availible.
Can someone tell me what the function is of the metal blocks mounted to the original sprocket? I assume that these are for balancing?

Re: Sprocket cam balance weights?
The original large sprocket was indended to damp out torqe fluctuations and give the cam chain an easier ride. It acted like a small flywheel but was later deemed unnecessary.

Thank you all for the help. Unfortunately the sprocket was not in stock anymore at CSMS.
So I bought one on eBay, I received it yesterday and I installed it. My question, is there some rule for how to mount this sprocket? at this moment I can shift it a bit to the right and to the left.
I can secure it with the bold in the camshaft at the right but what is the exact position of the sprocket?
Thanks in advance for the help.
