Can I split a cb77 case with the top intact?

Post by GG » Wed Mar 20, 2024 7:45 pm

Hello folks. I recently did a top end job on my Superhawk 305 and all is great, and I'd like to NOT take it apart.

Is it possible to JUST remove the bottom part of the case without touching anything on the top end? Can I just flip the motor over and pull the bottom off?

Please let me know!! :-) Thank you.

Yes, that is possible. I've done it myself - just don't forget to remove the nuts on the 8mm studs that come through to the top of the crankcase!
