Correct CA78 battery?

I am preparing a very nice original CA78 Dream for sale. Is there a "correct" battery to purchase for remaining true to this nice old machine?

It depends on the frame number.

If it's a late CA78 it'll use the (shorter, fatter) 12N9 battery.
If it's an early CA78 it'll use the (taller, skinnier, rarer) JB-2 battery.

The two are not cross-compatible.
