KellieLyyne, If there is an AUtozone nearby you might try them. They have different sizes and amp hour batteries. I'm not sure what size the '63 takes, but if you go online they list the size. Here's the link:

Kellie,

Hook up a jumper box if you have one, it'll double your battery life. That said, don't just keep cranking and overheat the electrical system!

Davo, can you see into my garage?!?! lol I say that because that is exactly what we did. We hooked it up a few days ago when we were trying to get it started. Worked like a charm. Now lets just hope we can get the beast to restart after the quick tear down to fix the oil drip!

Of course, while we are trying to get the Dream running, my son's 4runner decided to take a crap and throw the timing belt, and my other son's Maverick is leaking oil from the torque converter/tranny that we just paid $600 to have rebuit! So, now they are begging to drive my 1970 convertible bug until theirs is fixed, but it needs new brake pads! If this bike doesn't get finished soon, it will be on the back burner again for a while. The fun never ends!

Here are a couple of photo's of the seat frame I built if anyone is interested. I chose this design so as not to modify the frame in any way. The front attaches to the stock front seat mount and the rear bolts to the 2 holes in the upper frame/fender.

Wow ed! That came out really nice! Very creative and it compliments the curve of the bike so well. I think you could make some money selling them. (I'd be first in line!) I'm very impressed - great job!

Thanks again. If I had access to a cnc machine making them would be much easier. To cut everything by hand, fit and weld required several hours.
