The tank and fenders are back. Here's a picture:

Looking good. I love the dog in the frame, very charming. If you don't mind me asking, what'd the paint run you for the fenders and side covers? I'm thinking of having those pieces professionally painted. I'd love to get a ballpark in my head.

The paint and labor were free. You can't beat that deal :) I can tell you they used a quart of silver, a quart of black and clear coat. There is some black that wasn't used.

I just did my parts order for everything I need to put it back together. At least everything I can think of for now. I ordered tires & tubes, clutch & front brake cable, brake shoes and front rubber pegs from Retro Bikes. I put in an order for battery, Rear rubber pegs, battery band & rubber from Ohio Cycle. I picked up a gas cap and shift/kickstart rubbers from e-bay. And thanks to Fast Fred, he found me a left footpeg bracket.

I didn't find a rear brake cable, but the old one is ok, it just looks tough. I can get one from eBay, but they want way too much for it. With the low bars, my other cables had to be replaced because they were way too long. On top of that, I just paid for my son's basic riders safety class, so I think I am done buying stuff for a bit :)

Gunner, I was able to get CB77 rear brake cables from retrobikes. Are they out of stock?

Several months ago they had them, but I don't see them now. I think they had gas caps, but don't have them now.
