need an NA key

Andy, with these rare keys, you're gonna have to pay for it. I am often looking for these keys, and have paid as little as $5 and as much as $25. Unless you want to wait a year or two or more, jump on the one on Ebay. Still cheaper and a lot easier that replacing the entire switch assembly.

D, I may need that 082 key, I'll hit you back with a PM on that.

Retail price for a new Honda VTX key blank is $18.07,....Yamaha FJR is $12.66......and they are plentiful, (but not a dime a dozen)!

ok, im a newbie and just trying to not over pay. i get paid saturday and will get that key from ebay, thanks for the input and patience!

No problem.

I'm a little frugal myself....(just another word for cheap).

My bike came with a key that didn't work, so I just removed enough tumblers that it would.

All so often folks think that if they get one of these old HONDA bikes cheap that all the parts will be available and because they are old the cost will be CHEAP also.
Well neither idea is fact today.
Fortunately I started gathering parts and information years back when they were more available. ..................lm

i have a 67 dodge dart gt i have had for 7 years now, was my second car, and i know that being old doesnt make it cheap! usually quite the opposite, then again, it makes it cheaper when i can do the work myself. i can get an entire ignition lock cylinder and two new keys for $11 for my dart, so figured a single key wouldnt be as much for a bike, learning as i go, like i said, thanks for being patient! and yeah, i am cheap haha...

At this time I am looking for a simple battery hold down for my 64 CA77 it just tin DAM IT! NOS $80.00 If you find one LOL.
