I have my on machine shop and I have bored & honed 50 plus 305/250/160/90/65 hondas ect. and I have always used the .001" per 1.0" diameter rule on these stock ART pistons. So, for a 2nd over 305 piston that measures 2.380 then I will have a finish bore of 2.3820" to 2.3823" or .002" to .0023" piston to cylinder wall clearance. All with excellent results. With no piston slapping sounds or blow-by. After about 10 miles on the motor I can run full throttle with no problems. But do make sure your total timing and jetting is correct.
Good luck,
Tim
