Walmart Dream battery

I don't think Walmart has a battery that will work in an "early" Dream (which is most of them) application. Most batteries are too thick to fit in the tray. The post by G-man is pretty interesting and those batteries are available and have a little more "umph".

Early batteries (JB-2) show up on ebay pretty regularly.

Nice, but it looks like you run the risk of the hold-down bracket contacting the battery posts and shorting out. Do you put any insulating material over the battery?
